Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°
  2. In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, corn syrup, vanilla, melted butter, and eggs. Whisk together until fully combined and set aside.
  3. Place pie crust in pie pan.
  4. Arrange pecan halves in the bottom on the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Pour the syrup mixture over the pecans, making sure they are fully covered.
  6. Cover the edges of the pie crust with aluminum foil to prevent burning.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the pie is set and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
