“At Gallivant Mawa Ice Cream, community giving isn’t a side initiative. It’s woven into everything we do.”

Founded by Snehee Chaplot, Gallivant was built on the belief that true success comes from lifting others. Every scoop we share is an invitation to connect, celebrate culture, and create moments of joy that bring people together.

From neighborhood events to cultural festivals, from first responders to future founders, Gallivant shows up consistently, intentionally, and with heart.

Showing Up Where It Matters Most

To date, Gallivant has proudly participated in 55+ community events across Houston, Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress, Hockley, and The Woodlands, reaching more than 22,000 people.

Through partnerships, mentorship, and cultural celebration, we are committed to building a stronger, more inclusive community one relationship at a time.

We work closely with Harris County Precinct 4 and Commissioner Lesley Briones’ initiatives, allowing us to stay grounded in local needs and create impact where it is felt most.

Celebrating Culture & Representation

Cultural celebration is at the heart of Gallivant’s story.

We have sponsored 38 South Asian and multicultural festivals, distributed 15,000+ samples, and donated over 1,200 gallons of ice cream to honor diversity, heritage, and representation.

As a community partner to organizations including:

  • Asia Society Texas
  • Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston
  • Houston Business Journal
  • Local Hindu temples across Houston

We are proud to highlight the beauty of culture and the power of inclusion in every scoop.

Honoring Our Everyday Heroes

Gallivant proudly supports 12 fire stations and 12 police departments each quarter, hosting ice cream socials that bring smiles, gratitude, and connection to those who serve our communities every day.

  • 190+ first responders reached
  • 22 pints donated per visit
  • Quarterly activations focused on appreciation and human connection

These moments go beyond ice cream. They open doors for trust, conversation, and community appreciation.

Giving Back Beyond the Product

Our commitment extends far beyond the freezer aisle.

Gallivant actively supports organizations such as Daya Houston and the Asian Chamber of Commerce, contributing:

More Than Ice Cream

For us, these are not just numbers.
They are stories.
Stories of connection.
Stories of celebration.
Stories of showing up for people and places that matter.
At Gallivant, we believe business can be a force for good and that every act of kindness, big or small, helps build the world we all want to live in.
