Baklava Sundae

Baklava Bliss!

This recipe combines flaky baklava with our perfectly-sweet honey sauce and our creamy Vanilla Mawa Ice Cream. It’s an unforgettable treat!

Preparation: 10 min | Serves: 1


  1. Combine 1 cup of honey, 1/2 cup chopped pistachios, 2 tablespoons of salted butter, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom, a pinch of allspice, and a pinch of kosher salt in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat this mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well combined. Keep the sauce warm.
  3. Place one or two scoops of Gallivant Madagascar Vanilla Mawa Ice Cream into each serving bowl.
  4. Crumble a piece of baklava over each scoop of ice cream.
  5. Drizzle the warm honey sauce over the baklava and ice cream.
  6. Top each sundae with canned whipped cream for an extra touch of decadence and enjoy!
