Baklava Sundae
Baklava Bliss!
This recipe combines flaky baklava with our perfectly-sweet honey sauce and our creamy Vanilla Mawa Ice Cream. It’s an unforgettable treat!

Ingredients

- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
- 2 Tbsp salted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- pinch of allspice
- pinch of kosher salt
- Gallivant’s Madagascar Vanilla Mawa Ice Cream
- Whipped cream, optional
Directions
- Combine 1 cup of honey, 1/2 cup chopped pistachios, 2 tablespoons of salted butter, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom, a pinch of allspice, and a pinch of kosher salt in a small saucepan.
- Heat this mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well combined. Keep the sauce warm.
- Place one or two scoops of Gallivant Madagascar Vanilla Mawa Ice Cream into each serving bowl.
- Crumble a piece of baklava over each scoop of ice cream.
- Drizzle the warm honey sauce over the baklava and ice cream.
- Top each sundae with canned whipped cream for an extra touch of decadence and enjoy!
