Mexican Fried Ice Cream
A Fried Ice Cream Affair!
Try our no-fry version of this beloved dessert. This recipe combines the signature crispy coating with our classic Madagascar Vanilla Mawa Ice Cream.

Ingredients
Preparation: 15 min | Cook Time: 20 min | Serves: 6-8
- 6 cups corn flakes, crushed
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 pints of Gallivant’s Madagascar Vanilla Mawa Ice Cream
- Whipped cream, caramel sauce, and maraschino cherries for serving!
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°
- In a large bowl, mix together the crushed corn flakes, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Add the melted butter to the corn flakes mixture and mix until well-combined.
- Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Set aside and let the corn flakes mixture cool completely.
- Using an ice cream scoop or your hands, form balls of ice cream and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roll each ball of ice cream in the corn flakes mixture, pressing the mixture into the ice cream to make sure it sticks.
- Freeze the coated ice cream balls for at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.
- Serve with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and maraschino cherries on top.
