Mango Falooda
Description
Faluda is a South Asian dessert with origins in Persia. It is a layered dessert that includes basil seeds, faluda noodles (sev), milk and ice cream primarily. The original ‘faludeh’ was brought by the Persian merchants to Indian subcontinent in the 16th century. The current form of faluda was developed to please the Mughal royals and remains an integral dessert in the region.
