My name is Vishal Sharma and I am from Mumbai, India. The first 3 things that come to my mind when thinking about ice cream are Childhood, Happiness, Summer Holidays. The memory I associate with ice cream is when my daughter when she was a toddler had her first bite of vanilla flavour, her expression of happiness which she could express only with a sound ooooo!!!!. Ice cream has always been a soothing, comforting dish. I always feel nice and happy and it reminds me of the innocence we all had as children. I love all the flavours and awaiting for any new ones to come.
Fair & Ice Creams
Hello, I am Anila Bhandari from Siyana Uttar Pradesh. I love ice cream! The 3 words that come to mind when I think of ice creams are happiness, favorite food & pistachio Kulfi. When I was 8-9 years old, my siblings and I used to go to a fair every Monday where the local ice cream wallah would sell colorful ice cream popsicles! It was the best time of our week! Today, when I think of ice creams, I think of my family and the passion with which all my children would relish ice creams like me. The Gallivant flavors I am eagerly waiting to have are pistachio and mango.
The Good Mood Maker
Hello, I am Sarita from Bahrain. The first 3 words that come to mind when I think of ice cream are childhood, happiness, mood-changer. When I was small, there was a street vendor Lalluji who used to sell local orange popsicles and kulfi popsicles. My siblings, cousins and I used to sit next to the window or sometimes on the porch, eagerly waiting for him. As soon as he would come, we would yell for my father to give us our 5 paisa each so we can buy our weekly treat from Lalu uncle. This activity was the highlight of our week! I look forward to meeting my family and friends at an ice cream parlor especially during COVID times! Having ice creams uplifts all our moods and brings us together over a happy yummy treat. Mango, Saffron & Black Sesame are the 3 Gallivant flavors and I am very excited to try.
Family, Fridays & Ice Creams
Hello, I am Shruti Raj from Houston, Texas. Ice Cream resonates with joy, family and togetherness for me. Growing up, having ice cream every Friday evening was a family tradition for us. We eagerly waited for Friday each week. Going to an ice cream parlor and enjoying different flavors of ice cream is undoubtedly one of my fondest memories of ice creams. Today, I turn to ice creams when I am sad & happy. Ice cream can lift up my mood when I’m having a bad day and help me celebrate when I am happy! To me a good ice cream is pure love! I am dying to have Gallivant’s Coffee Mawa Ice Cream & hopefully strawberry some day!
Hot Summers & ‘Matka Kulfis’
Hi, I am Rahul Jain from Udaipur, India. The 3 words that come to mind when I think of ice creams is Holidays, Joy, Gelato. My favorite memory with ice creams are my childhood memories of buying matka kulfi (Indian ice creams in small earthen pots) from street vendors in the hot summers of Rajasthan and slurping as they melted :) Ice creams bring Joy to me - enjoying ice creams with family on a hot afternoon is pure bliss! The one Gallivant flavor that I want to have is Mango. I miss eating Langda, Dusseri, Kesar and many more amazing mangoes of India.
Ice Cream is sunshine in a cup!
I am Christina Coon from Dallas, TX. The first three words that get come to mind when I think of ice creams are joy, treat and pleasure. I found out late in life that I have a rare sugar intolerance, and that many of the foods that brought me so much comfort and pleasure were now restricted to very special occasions. There was one that I would never give up - a fresh pineapple ice cream that I could only get on vacation in Hawaii. I dream of sitting there listening to the ocean, watching the birds and eating that amazing pineapple ice cream each tiny spoonful at a time. It’s like sunshine in a cup! Maybe if I could eat it everyday it wouldn’t be as special, but it always takes me back to my happy place on the beach! Ice cream, when I was younger, was always a comfort food (who hasn’t eaten a pint of Ben & Jerry’s after failing a college test?), but now it is a special, joyful treat. The Gallivant flavor I really want to have is Pistachio!
Parisian Vacations & Ice Creams!
Hi, I am Garima Vardhaman Kumbhat from London, UK. Ice Cream to me resonates with these three words - pretty, colorful and delightful. My most favorite memory with ice creams is of our trip to Paris - we had an ice cream for every 5 miles we walked and we walked A LOT! Ice cream is my go-to stress busting, mood recharging food. If I didn't have to worry about piling on the pounds and my constant sinusitis, I'd be binging on a tub of ice cream everyday! The two flavors I really want to try are Gallivant’s Mango and Pistachio.
Celebration of the Small Victories
My name is Toniya Mishra and I'm originally from Anand in Gujarat, India. Comfort, fun and friendship are the three words that are synonymous to ice cream for me. I'm not a big ice cream person. But there is one memory that is so dear to me. When I was in school, me and my best friend would make excuses and bunk classes to go eat Orange creamsicles at a small store across the street. Standing in the sun with melting ice cream in our hands, giggling, eating those Orange creamsicles is one of the best memories of my childhood. Even today, I try to find them in stores in the US so I can relive that moment. Ice cream is a celebration of the small victories in life. The day you get a new car, you go eat ice cream. If you've had a good day at work, you eat some ice cream. It represents the small victories in life to me. It reminds me of that little girl who was carefree and happy and for a moment, when you eat ice cream, you relish the victory. I'm most excited to try the Black Sesame flavor. I've never been able to imagine how Sesame could be a flavor in ice cream so that's definitely a mystery to taste.
Summers & Ice Cream Trucks
My name is Mariam Turay and I'm from the Windy City, better known as Chicago. When I think of Ice cream, the three words that come to my mind are yum, happiness, and rewarding. I love rewarding myself with ice cream, it's so satisfying. My first memories of ice cream, were when I was a child. I can vividly hear the sounds of the ice cream truck driving through my neighborhood. Every time we'd hear the sounds during the summer month, my brothers and I would run out to grab an ice cream cone. What ice cream represents in my life is pure joy. After a long work day, a bowl of ice cream is so satisfying. It brings me a sense of peace whenever I'm enjoying a bowl. The flavor I'm most looking forward to trying next is the Matcha flavor, I love all things matcha.
Ice Creams, Travels and Childhood
I am Ambika from Silver Springs Maryland. When I think of ice creams, I think of yummmmm, family commonality and childhood. Ice-cream has been a big part of my childhood; my childhood memories are filled with we siblings getting ice-creams a lot when traveling, especially us getting Butterscotch cones when we travelled to India during the hot summers! Today ice cream is my comfort food and an awesome way to cap off the evening. It is hard to pick just one Gallivant flavor I want to have; maybe mango?
First Ice Cream EVER!
My name is Amaaya and I am from India. I can describe ice-cream in these two words - soft and sweet. My most favorite memory is eating ice cream for the first time was when I was just 3yrs old- I had visited a strawberry farm near Washington DC. I had never seen ice cream being made before and was mesmerized by the whole experience of picking strawberries, washing and chopping them and finally making fresh homemade strawberry ice-cream! I relished my yummy fresh strawberry ice-cream in a waffle cone topped with more fresh strawberries😋 Ice-cream is my mood maker 😍😋 I really want to have Gallivant’s Matcha and Chocolate flavors.
“Love for Ice Cream” is a Family Tradition
I am Nikhil Bumb from Silver Spring MD (greater Washington, DC area). “Mmmmm, bliss, happy place” are the 3 emotions that come to me when I think of ice creams. When my niece was just about a year old, she would see me eating ice cream and always want some from my bowl and spoon. Passing on the love of ice cream in the family is one of my favorite memories.
Ice cream is my happy place. It is the perfect meal at any time of the day - breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner. Perfect for a celebration, to unwind after a long day, or a pick me up. I've tried many of them, but somehow missed vanilla. Can't wait to try vanilla!
Best Dorm Meal
Hello, I am Aseem Bhandari from Dubai. When I think of Ice cream, happiness, satisfaction and sharing are the three emotions that come to mind. The best memory for me is when we were young and my parents would bring a "party pack" – a rectangular block of 1-1.5ltr ice cream and then Mummy would cut slices out of it and give it all of us. And the family would sit together and eat it. Ice Cream always elevates my mood. It has been a comfort food for many years now. And at some point in graduation, I used to hate my dorm food, so sometimes 2 scoops of ice cream used to be my dorm meal. I look forward to eating Gallivant's Mango, Chocolate & Vanilla in that order
"PICK ME UP" Soiree
I am Elias Wilson from Dallas, Texas. Rewarding, Delicious and Creamy are the 3 words that come to mind immediately when I ponder about ice creams. When I think of ice cream, memories of childhood parties come rushing back. There was always a sticky tub of Neapolitan Flavored ice cream filled to brim with extra sweet Strawberry Chocolate and Vanilla. Main drivers for this are a cheap price per gallon and each tub provides multiple options for guests. When you think about it, who doesn't like at least one of those flavors?!
Ice cream is a major stress relief in my life. Each spoonful is a "pick - me up" soiree. Picture this, Ice-cream is a star opening Madison Square Gardens and I'm just a groupie. There never seems to be enough to go around and we're all screaming for more. Somehow licking the bowl after depleting one serving is a far cry from calling it a night. I normally go back for seconds. Yes, I have a problem but who doesn't? Mine just involves a little bit of cream sugar dry ice and a sticky beard!
I really would like to have Gallivant’s Pistachio - I feel less guilt eating Pistachio. At least when I reach for a second tub, I'm one bite closer to my daily protein intake. Nutrition Facts aside it's luscious while salty and sweet. Pistachios are pricey! I feel like I’m getting a steal eating this flavor. Reverse psychology for something you enjoy never hurt anyone right?
Obsession since Childhood!
Hi, I am Ankit Bhandari from Bangalore, India. Ice cream to me is synonymous to these 3 words — Joy, Celebration and Dessert! My favorite memory, when I think of ice cream, is running to an ice cream counter filled with numerous options with a twinkle in my eyes! I still feel equally elated seeing the spread of flavors as I used to when I was a kid. In fact, today ice cream is my go to comfort food, my ‘break’ from whatever I am doing and a huge part of my celebrations. I am most excited to try Gallivant’s Matcha flavor!
Ice Cream as a Reward!
Hey, my name is Chirag Chaplot and I am from Melbourne, Australia. I am a hardcore food-lover with a penchant for sweet food. Hence, ice cream is at the top of my list for almost all occasions i.e. celebrations, to relax, to calm down, to watch a movie and even to just fill my belly. I associate ice cream the most with the flavor of ‘CASATA’ — a 3-flavor layered ice cream roll with cake at the bottom! YUM! My mum would give me a large piece of CASATA ice cream every weekend as a reward for the help. Since then I have enjoyed mixing multiple flavors of ice cream in various forms – in a sundae, waffle cone, etc. I am eagerly excited to have the Mango, Matcha and Vanilla flavors of Gallivant.
Ice cream for Breakfast!
Hi, I am Garima raised in Mumbai and currently living in Melbourne. Pure Happiness, Comfort food & Sweetness is what pops up when I listen to the word ice cream. Yes, you read it right, I have ice creams for my breakfast! I am excited to try Chocolate, Matcha and Black Sesame flavors of Gallivant ice cream.
Ice Cream Lovers DO NOT Share!
Namaste! I am Rohan from Surat, India. When I think of ice-cream, I think about family and nostalgic memories.
I will always remember one ice-cream memory with my little son Vihaan when he was about 5 years old. He was gobbling down a huge triple-scoop sundae, and suddenly declared, “I hate this ice-cream!” Confused about why a die-hard ice-cream lover would say this, we asked him why. He said, “It’s so big I can’t finish it! I might have to share it with you all.”. It’s moments like these that make life wholesome, and no matter how much ice-cream may ruin my diet plans—it always sprinkles some special moments.
The Gallivant flavor I am dying to try is Coffee!
Ice Cream is Soul Food!
Hello, I am Sheridann Biddle from Corpus Christi, TX. The 3 bits that come to mind when I think about Ice Cream is Stress Eating, Happiness, Family! Basically, my soul food! I have relished ice creams throughout my life but the one memory that stands is eating strawberry ice cream with my dad at Baskin Robbins when I was younger. My dad and I are very close and this particular memory commemorates our relationship since I was a child! Today, Ice cream is literally my comfort food from work! When I get back from a rough work day, ice cream is my go to ‘meal’. The Gallivant flavor I am dying to have is Mango.
Scream for Ice Cream
I am Amy Williams from Houston TX. I am the owner of Underhill Urban Farm Company. The first 3 words that come to mind when I think of ice cream are kids, laughter and happiness! In our house, we really do “scream for ice cream”! It’s part of every celebration, every happy memory, late night and a big part of my kid’s childhood. Regularly they ask, “mom can we pleeeease get ice cream?” I’m a sucker for anything coconut and I can’t wait to dig in!
Tag Teaming for an Ice Cream
I am Ashka Bhatt, born and brought up in Baroda India and currently living in Toronto, Canada. Ice cream to me means True Happiness, foodgasms and Family & Friends. A fond memory from our childhood which will live with me forever is tag teaming with my younger brother for ice cream. My brother and I used to fight a lot as kids, but one thing that made us team up was to convince our parents to get us ice-cream. We had genuine love for ice-cream then and surprisingly that remains even today as adults. Ice-cream is my comfort food. Whenever I feel upset, disappointed or just need some change, I eat ice-cream. You will always find ice-cream in my house. All the flavors look yummy but the one flavor that I really look forward to trying is Mango.
Ice Cream Time = Happy Time
I am Erin Simpson from Houston, TX. The first three words that come to mind when I think of Ice cream are Fun, nostalgic, delicious! My favorite ice cream memories are with my older sister. When we would have a bad day, we would go get ice cream together and listen to music in the car. No matter how the day started, it would always end up in a lot of laughter and fun. Ice cream can always turn the day around. Those are still some of my favorite memories of us together! Ice cream represents happy times. Happy times with my family, with my daughters, with my friends. No one is sad when you say it's time for ice cream! Cardamom is my favorite Gallivant flavor, but I can't wait to try Black Sesame. It is a unique flavor and I am sure it is amazing!
“Cherry on Top” Summer Treat
My name is Claribel Mendez. I live in New Jersey. The three words that come to mind when I think of ice cream is summer time, family and refreshing. My most favorite memory with ice creams is of the times we would go to the park as a family and ice cream was the “cherry on top” treat for us especially on hot days. Ice cream makes you feel good...PERIOD! After having a long day, you can go home sit and relax and enjoy your favorite ice cream right out of the container. It’s my comfort food from life. Ice cream reminds me of my dad and how much he loves ice cream. Every time the ice cream truck passed by, he had the biggest smile like a little kid. Ice cream represents my youth enjoying ice cream with the family especially during birthdays. I am very excited to try Gallivant’s mango flavor. I’m from the island of Puerto Rico and mangoes are my favorite fruit.
Ally to Cheer up my Family
Hello, my name is Maria Hernandez and I am originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico. The first 3 words that come to mind when I hear the word ice cream is family, togetherness, and joy. Just like most, ice cream was introduced to me during my childhood. Even though I have plenty of pleasant memories of ice cream as a kid I didn’t realize the effect it will have on me until I had a family of my own. The image that comes to mind when you mention the word ice cream is the look in my baby boy Jadon’s eyes; his eyes light up when he is digs for his first spoon full of ice cream. He feels he is on top of the world when he has his cup or cone of ice cream! Ice cream has become an ally to help me cheer up family members when the day seems not to be going right for them. The Gallivant flavor that I am most excited about is Chocolate!
The Stuff That Brings People Together
Hey! My name is Zoe and I was born and raised in Southern California, with most of my family still based in Indonesia. Picturing ice cream, I'm reminded of the words "bringing people together"- it's the perfect dessert to have after a meal with the family or just as an excuse to hang out and see friends. When I think of ice cream, I think back to those memories of learning to create the perfect swirl (even if it was too much for me to eat as a kid). Now, I always have two emergency pints of ice cream in my fridge I share with my roommate on the off Fridays between hard days at college. It's definitely the perfect food to crash on the couch with, watching a movie or just talking about our days. I'm a huge matcha fan, so I would love to try Gallivant's Japanese Matcha Flavor. But... who can say no to everything else? I have yet to try a Cardamom or Black Sesame flavor, and those sound delicious!
Life is a (Ice) Dream
Hi! My name’s Somashree and I come from Phoenix, Arizona. When someone mentions ice cream, the first 3 words that pop into my mind are “Sweet,” “Happiness,” and “Dreaminess.” When I think of ice cream, I think of sitting on a beach or a boardwalk and watching the seagulls fly into the distant ocean horizon...dreamy stuff like that. It reminds me of my friends and the countless hours we've spent hanging out in ice cream shops to beat the heat. Given the recent stay at home situation, my family and I have also indulged in creating fun dessert combinations involving ice cream to keep ourselves busy. And yes, Ice cream is a treat to myself, especially on hot summer days here in Phoenix. I'm a sucker for fruit based ice cream and would love to try the Mango flavor for Gallivant Ice Creams!

The first 3 words that come to mind when I think of ice cream are “Dairy,” “Creamy,” and “Yummy.” The ice cream memory closest to my heart is when my mom and I would eat ice cream together on our front porch. Ice cream also reminds me of my dad, who is a dairy scientist. He makes all sorts of yummy treats for me, be it from India or America. Finally, the Gallivant flavor I’m the most excited to try is definitely Mango :).
Hi! My name’s Carolyn and I’m from New Jersey. When I think of ice cream, I think of “Family,” “Summertime,” and “Happiness.” My favorite ice cream memory is that when my twin brother and I were little, my parents would allow us to eat ice cream before dinner on the last day of summer break. We looked forward to it every year :). To me, ice cream represents happiness because it has always cheered me up when I am stressed or upset. Plus, it’s my favorite treat—especially in the summer! The Gallivant flavor I’m most excited to try is Matcha.

When I think of ice cream, the first 3 words that pop into my head are “Family,” “Friends,” and “Yum”! As for my favorite ice cream memory, I guess I don’t have a particular favorite—I just love the whole experience of sharing ice cream with loved ones and turning those scenes into precious memories that last forever. Right now in my life, ice cream stands for simple and youthful times...when my biggest problem was worrying about accidentally dropping my ice cream cone! The two Gallivant flavors I’m the most excited to try are either (or a mix of) Black Sesame and Matcha—why choose one when you can have both!
Ice Cream for Dinner
Hey everyone! My name is Abhishek and I’m currently based out of Houston, Texas but am originally from Baroda, Gujarat. The first 3 things that come to mind when I think of ice cream are “Yummy,” “Mood-setter,” and late night outings with friends. My favorite ice cream memory is probably during summers back home, where my mom cuts fresh mangoes with vanilla ice cream slabs (it’s delicious!). Occasionally, we would go out and try new flavors in Mumbai. To me, ice cream is something I’ll always cherish—be that at the end of a rough day or as a mood-lifter after a not-so-satisfactory meal. To me, ice cream is almost sinfully satisfying...I can eat it even for dinner. As for which gallivant flavor I want to try, I can’t choose just one so I’ll choose 3: Matcha, Black Sesame, and Cardamom. Chocolate is my personal favorite—it’s so decadent and delicious it always leaves me craving for more.
Sweet Memories by the Seaside
Hello everybody! My name is Rhian Davies, and I’m from the UK. The first 3 words that come to mind when I think of ice cream are “Childhood,” “Seaside,” and “99” (that’s what we call vanilla ice cream with a Cadbury’s chocolate flake in Britain). My most beloved ice cream memory is when my grandparents would treat me to a “99” ice cream every time I visited their house by the seaside in England as a small child. Indeed, ice cream reminds me of my childhood and I cherish it very much. As for the gallivant flavor I’m most excited about, it is definitely Thai coconut!
Friendship through Ice Cream
Hi everyone! My name is Jenny and I was born in Jiangsu, China, and am now living with my family in Los Angeles, California. The first 3 words that come to mind when I think of ice cream are Sweet, Icy, and Happy. Besides ice cream being the best childhood treat in China, my favorite ice cream memory is when I would take my son and his friends to the nearby ice cream shop after their cross-country competitions to celebrate. I always love how even though they are sweaty and exhausted from their race, eating ice cream and spending quality time with each other immediately puts a huge smile on their faces. To me, ice cream stands for companionship—in our house, ice cream is never eaten alone but rather enjoyed alongside those we love, such as family and friends. In settling into a new life in America, I also love how both my kids and I are able to connect with others and the Asian community through our shared love for ice cream. Finally, as for the Gallivant ice cream flavor I am the most excited to try, it would definitely be Black Sesame! Black sesame is used in many dishes and foods in China, and I’m excited to see how it is deliciously integrated into ice cream.
Hi! My name is Pragati, and I grew up in Bahrain, married my husband in India, and now I currently live in Sunnyvale, California. When I think of ice cream, the first 3 words that come to mind are Happiness, Celebration, and Togetherness. My fondest memory of ice cream is probably when I first traveled to the United States and tried a sundae at Baskin Robbins—growing up, I enjoyed lots of ice cream (especially chocolate) but I have never tried a sundae before. And with such a stunning variety of flavors too, with samples for each! I remember making my way down the aisle and sampling all of the flavors offered before picking up my to-go sundae. Even now when I go out with my husband and daughters for ice cream, I always reminisce about this memory of how excited I was. Indeed, ice cream is like “sweet therapy” to my family—especially on road trips! My daughters love chocolate (like me!) while my husband raves over more nutty and natural fruit flavors like coconut and mango…
As for which Gallivant ice cream flavor I am the most excited to try, you can probably guess: Chocolate! Wait but also Coconut...and Mango too! Gosh, can I pick more than one? I’m excited to try them all!
Confessions of an Ice Cream Fanatic
Hello everyone! My name is Amrita, and I was born and raised in Pune, India. Now I am living in New York City, and recently became a proud mom to a 6-month old. The first 3 words that come to mind when I think of ice cream is Obsession, Bonding, & Special Occasions. Growing up, my happiest memories all involved ice cream—and most recently, when I was 6 months pregnant, my husband made sure my ice cream cravings were met every single day! I truly believe that our baby moon turned out perfect thanks to ice cream (thanks husband!). Besides this, my life philosophy is that “No special occasion is complete without ice cream!” Honestly, I’m an ice cream lover to the core and if I had my way, every day would start and end with ice cream. Finally, the two Gallivant flavors I’m the most excited to try are Coffee and Matcha.
